this is just bullshit

This article talks about how a soldier is going to be charged with "cowardice" after he had a panic attack when he saw an Iraqi who was cut in half by gunfire. Well i would hope that would affect someone, and that we don't have just a bunch of killing machines running around, and that make up our freaking armed forces...

The best caroon in the world

my whole family was ecstatic when i found this, you should watch it, although i think the sound is a little delayed but oh well it still rocks it out

School is kicking my ass...

I am taking 3 400 level classes and they are killing me!! there is so much work. At least though they are clases that I like. Ad strat, PR and the like. hooray for that.
In one of my classes we are consulting for a client, so we are doing Label X (with digby and they mucks on them) so a whole lot of my time has been spent on that and its fun. I get to spend a lot of time "working" close with them.
And i tell you what you guys def need to go check out the muckrakers. ( they kick ass (and for the girls-they are cute ;-)
Adam actually likes them so you know they have to be good-since he doesn't like anything at all...bastard.
I get to go do a focus group at FC for that project. thats exciting because i have never done anything like that before. Rick Miller said that I could come in during one of his classes and do it, now i just have to get out of work... damn

Janna Jackson

Wow, Janna is getting married on Saturday. its kinda weird but kinda not. I mean her and Brad already really have a great relationship, but its like they will be married. MARRIED!!

I just dont know what to think. She is really the first of my close friends to do it, so that's pretty significant you know? At anyrate. Thursday is her big, shower/party. so that will be cool. WE are going to help her decorate then too. She is having her reception at the Grand. I think it will be gorgeous. The Rumors are playing instead of a DJ so that will be diff. haven't been to a wedding yet where there was a live band.
Harvest Homecoming was this past weekend. It was fun because its like a big high shool reunion that comes around once a year, so you get to see people and get it over with. and most of the people are drunk so you don't have to worry about even remembering seeing there. However there is something just a little frightening about how many mullets were there, I mean it seemed like they are just taking over. And how many pregnant chics were roaming around the beer garden. I'm not talking like 2 or 3 months, which i can kinda understand but I mean like 8 months ready to pop. That would be that last place I would want to be you know?
So the girl that started after I did today got fired this morning, that was a little weird. So if anyone is interested in doing advertising sales here at autosuccess give me a call, we got an opening for ya!

I'm a...dude..?

Which Homestar Runner character are you?

this quiz was made by jurjyfrort

Well I am not really sure what the hell that means, but I am in sales so that part was right! I love this job, right now we are having an arguement over who has the best mexican food. does it get any better? my friends I think not. Actually I wish they would quit this training crap, and let me get on the damn phones! I wanna sell sell sell!!

Dizzy Whizz

So another kick ass perk of this new job is that Dizzy Whiz is just around the corner! So we get bacon and eggs every morning (that fits in the south beach diet!YAY)

So it is the 4th day of my new job and I am really digging it so far. If you want to check out a little bit of it you can visit the site at OH yeah so Ambers big news is that she is going to be a momma! hooray for her, and guess when her due date is APril 24! My wedding, (i knew she would find a way to take the attention ;-) SHe is going to the docter and everything and is doing pretty well! so congrats for her.
Yeah so everyone knows that Adam has joined the National Guard and specialized in infantry, so everyone email him at and tell him what an idiot he is and that he should choose something else. Oh and we now don't know when he is going to boot camp because one of the biggest organizations in not only the country but prolly the world is the most disorganized piece of crap ever! (yes even more so then IUS!) dumb bastards..
but I digress.
So i am going to take brets job for a minute and play movie critic, every one needs to go see Bowling for Columbine. I wasn't really a big fan of Michael Moore after the whole movie awards thing, but holy crap this movie just rocked. really go rent it NOW

New Job!!

Thats right kids, Mamas got a brand new job, no more crap face law office (no offense Jenny, Angie, Karla, Steph or Katie) I am moving on to the wonderful world of advertising sales. hooray for me! Sorry that it has been qquite a while for an update, I have started school again, and Adam and I have been working like crazy on the house. Yeah thats right we closed on it about a week ago. We have done a little paintint, cleaning, stripping (the wall paper that is, pervs) and waxing.

This will be the house where we live when we get married, but for right now we will be renting it out, because Adam gets ready to leave for bootcamp :-Oh and congrats to my good friend Amber, (if she is OK with me posting her goodnews then she can let me know!)
And I talked to Andrew this morning he is an ass, he leaves for Italy tonight just for fun. jerk!

Ryans Day Out

Since Ryan will be home this weekend (after his first big week or work), we are all (me. Adam, Brit, Tiff and Ryan) going to Red Lobster, since watching Ryan eat all the crab he can is so much entertainment in itself!

Also I am starting the South Beach Diet today. Hmm that means no more beer, well at least for the first two weeks. :-( and no bread, and if you know me at all-well thats gonna suck, can you go through like detox and withdrawl from carbs? I mean is that possible, because I think that maybe what will happen. Its actually kind of an interesting diet and it doesn't seem to crazy unmanagable. you should check it out. Some of my "big" sisters at work are not to pleased with my decision though. THey think that I am listening to other people to much, you know I don't think they are jealous though, its nice to know they give a shit either way. :-) (big sissie with the baby is she coming in soon?) so thats really all i suppose gotta start getting ready for the big wedding figure ya know. Because my beeotch sister can't be better looking then the bride. Did anyone see that episode of Saved By The Bell where Zach invented the pimple cream but it turned everyones face red, wherever they put it, hmm maybe that would work. ;-) Thats all for now HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!

You're My boy, BLUE!!

Hooray, Hooray we get to go to the bookstore tonight! I got a gift cert for my birthday from Alicia and I can't wait to go spend it. I love the bookstore. (Am I a nerd?) ALso, So I am sure that everyone has seen Old School by now...

So do you remember the scene where the kids at the party are trying to get Frank to drink, but he says he can't because he promised his wife he woudn't because they had a lovely Saturday planned, going to the HOme Depot, and maybe if they were lucky the would make it to Bed, Bath and Beyond..? Christ thats not funny, thats a reality and (good time) around the Paris/Hill households...what does that say about my future saturdays? I'll be having good times going and visiting the f-ing nursing home in about 10 years...great

My Military Man

So Adam, has decided that he is indeed going to join the national guard. I'm still not quite sure how I feel about it.

I mean I am glad that he is doing his part for the country, but I know how stubborn he is and just don't want him to put hisself in harms way, simply for the fact that he is an idiot guy ;-)
He goes tonight to the hotel with all the other little military boyfriends and then they get up at like 4 in the morning tomorrow for the physicals and calistenics (sp?) tests yay what fun.
On a happier note, we bought a house-well Adam should close on the 29th. So thats exciting. Its out 111 off of Budd Road, Its called French Creek road, and its pretty exciting. So all of you get ready for some maintanence time, cause we will need some help!
Thats all for now, gotta get back to work!

Moving again

Thats right kids I am moving again, after Aug 11. I will no longer reside on 4th st in Louisville, Ky. Why? Read on...

because after really sitting down and performing a plastectomy looking at my budget and figuring out a plan that will work with the budget (damn you Dave Ramsey ) I deduced that if Adam and I want to buy a house within the next ooohhh say 2 years then I need to either move home or in with him. SO kids it looks like thats the plan. Unless those of you out there that are oh so generous feel like donating towards the cause, I will be more then happy to accept!
So I had a really good weekend, although my time with Adam was sincerely lacking :-( Friday night we ate chinese food from the best Chinese rest. in the world, (the one in the New Albany Plaza by Blockbuster and Fashion Shop) and then I met up with Amber and we went to see Digby at Pheonix Hill (the best freaking band in the entire world) and then went home to bed. Sat sucked, since we are getting ready to move out, we have to really clean the bastard, and that (if you know me at all) is not my favorite thing to do by anymeans, and of course the short bus cats kept trying roll around on the freshly bleached floors, good times. YOu all have to go try the California Pizza Kitchen we went on Sat night and it is soo damn good. Then I went and saw Digby again at Gerstels. I looove them, they are so awesome, and they are all my boyfriends (shhh don't tell them though their wife's may get mad)
so anyway theres my weekend, wow what fun... what about you all?

What a beautiful day

So Ihave nothing really important to say, I just thought I would comment on how beautiful it has been outside recently. Mmmmm it makes me excited for fall, my favorite season of the year! I'm going clogging tonight with my mom because she read an article in the Courier-Journal and wants to go... good Lord, what have I gotten myself into?

Also, I know this will probably piss a lot of you all off, but I feel I should put the info out there in case anyone is interested. Go to this site if you are like me, and the smoke kinda bothers you when you are out in public. I am not in agreement with 100% of the missions like, I think they should leave the Cigar Bars be, and in bars maybe they could do something like they have in the airport, so people don't have to huddle out side in the cold and rain and shit. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to infringe on anyone's right to smoke, but I don't think that their right to smoke should infringe on my health either. There are lots of links that prove the dangerousness of second-hand smoke, this is just one of them. So I hope that I haven't pissed anyone off, but I would be interested in hearing your alls thoughts and stuff! so let me know

New Day, New Hair Style...

Well kids, thats right I have had 3 differant hair cuts in the last three days, and I think that this one i have now, i finally am happy with...

At least I better, because I am running out of hair. Thats right kids its back to the short haircut. This has had me thinking about this topic for quite a little while now, and I have decided to take a little poll. See at work the other day, we were talking about you know typical girly stuff (in between the bra and panty chit-chat) and we got on the subject of hair and how much we pay, what we use blah blah blah. So some of these girls were like oh I go to blah and pay $50, and I only use $25/bottle shampoo, and all that, so I was like yeah right, unless we are talking major transition or perhaps a special occasion, I would never pay that much I mean $25 is the limit, for me. So knowing me I was all like oohh I just go to Great Clips, and I always get a good hair-cut there blah blah blah. Well, well, what do you know I roll into Great Clips and was all like oh its just a trim they can't screw it up. Psshhhawww holy crap I have never had bigger hair in my life!!! IT was just trauma...So then the next day I trimmed it a little bit, and well it just wasn't good either. SO I bit the bullett and went to Strandz and paid the full $25, and of course got a great hair-cut. So does the price really matter that much? What do you all think? Whats the most you pay for a hair cut? let me know@
P.S. Digby plays this weekend at
So you guys post and let me know your personal experiences ok. I want Gerstles, and then at Phoenix Hill, so every one should come out and enjoy the shows!
PPS HAPPY 21st Birthday JOSH!!!

I'll take The Rapists for $400 Alex...

Thats right everyone Sean Connery is back, in the awesome new movie The League of Extraordinary Gentleman and in my opinion this is one of the best movies he has done in a loong time.

Bret and I went and saw it on Sat night, and everyone should go, the cool thing about this movie, was there weren't a lot of big name stars in it, so you really could get a sense of the characters they played. The story was even a little catchy, in fact it almost makes me want to go get the comics-ooops I mean "graphic novel" that it was based on. If you've seen it let me know what you think, or clue me in on some other good movies that you've seen lately. Oh yeah has anyone seen pirates yet??

This is my fun little 'blog that Brit was kind enough to set-up for me, the idea was given to me by a good friend ;-) (thanks soo much.)
I don't have a lot of time today because i am off to work , so I will try to post later on, when i have more, time sleep and ideas. and thanks to Brit for helping me come up with the name and setting this up for me! The frock is inspired by my love of my two awesome cats, Minnie Me (a year old Calico female) and Little Jerry Seinfeld ( a 3 month old black and white devil!- oh that ones a biter-he likes to latch on with all four paws and all his teeth and hold on for dear life) Unfortunately, the love of the kitties is shared by another person, my sister, Alicia. As many of you know, I will be getting married next April, and she and I live together now with (MY) kitties and we are beginning what looks as though it will be a long drawn out custody battle. I will keep you updated however.
