I saved a piece of cake for Mulder

Is there such a thing as a quarter life crises?

Today I'm 26 years old, I still feel like a little kid. Does that ever end? Sometimes I wonder when I'll quit feeling like I'm just barely managing to pull one over on people. Like well another day i fooled people into thinking I am a responsible adult.

Hooray for presents though!!!!!

  1. Happy Birthday, Court!
FYI: That feeling doesn't go away...I am 28 now and still feel like just one of the kids...well, until I go downtown on a Saturday night and try to "fit in" with the college kids and I am reminded oh so clearly that I am OLD!!...its sad...

  2. Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday oh Courtney, happy birthday to you! (I don't like the word "dear", so I replaced it with "oh"---sort of works.)
Anyway, I completely know what you mean about getting older. I feel so strange because I realize my age, but I don't feel mature or grown up. Then I look at other people who are my age and I think "do I look as old as they look?" It all confuses me.

  3. First, Happy Birthday!
Secondly, I'm twice as old as you and I still can't decide what I want to be when I grow up. The older I get the more I realize that maturity is definitely over-rated.

  4. I just wanted to say HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY Birthday - a month late. I hope it was a great one. Oh, and I will never grow up ;p
